Regular noise
Cause 1: As a result of foreign bodies caused by rolling surface indentation, rust or scars

Reason 2: (steel carburized) surface deformation

Testing method and instrument for abnormal noise of bearing
At present, there are two ways to detect abnormal sound of bearing. One is based on acoustic noise detection, the other is based on vibration detection.
(1) noise detection method
Is in the basic noise less than 20 DB silencing environment, the use of high-quality microphone in a certain distance and direction to extract the bearing sound pressure signal, and through a certain analysis method to extract the abnormal components, it is a direct measurement method of abnormal sound.
Vibration detection method
It can be divided into qualitative detection method and quantitative parameter detection method. Among them, qualitative detection method is divided into monitoring abnormal sound method and observation vibration waveform method. The quantitative parameter detection method is to evaluate the abnormal sound of the bearing by using the measured parameters related to the abnormal sound such as the peak value and the peak factor of the vibration.
(3) a measuring instrument for measuring abnormal sound of bearings
There are many instruments to measure the abnormal sound of bearings, for example: BANT-1 instrument of Hangzhou Bearing Test and Research Center; S092 instrument of Shanghai Bearing Technology Research Institute; S0910-iii developed by Luoyang Bearing Research Institute and Dalian Bearing Instrument Factory. These instruments can measure the effective value of bearing vibration and the peak value, peak factor and pulse number of abnormal sound parameters.
Proper storage of bearings
1, maintain the original packaging, not arbitrary open, if found packaging damage, must be opened carefully cleaned, re-oiled packaging.
2, the relative humidity of the storage room can not exceed 60% , the temperature difference can not be too large, in the original packaging of the bearing can be stored for several years. A sealed bearing or a bearing with a dust cover may have a reduced lubricity due to the filling of the bearing after prolonged storage.
3. The storeroom should also be protected from vibration and shaking. Bearings not stored in the original packaging should be properly preserved, strictly prohibited bearing and corrosive things together to prevent corrosion and pollution.
4, large rolling bearing storage can only be flat, the inner and Outer Ring of the best all the side of the support. If stored upright, the inner and Outer Rings and Rolling Parts are heavy, and the inner and outer ring walls are relatively thin, which may cause permanent deformation.
